About the Presenter:
Dragana Vlatkovic has studied structural engineering in Europe and design in USA. She worked as a lead designer for few big national firms before opening up her own design company. Since the company founding, her work has been exclusively focused on design and construction of smaller size homes for owners wishing to grow- n-place with flexible living arrangements. Her expertise is in advanced concrete and wood building methods, that includes also use of prefabrication. As a result of careful project design, technology used and project management; each project represents a successful blend of very tight budget, sustainable materials and energy savings.
Dragana is a guest speaker and teaches courses on sustainable and universal design. She is a member of AlA, AEE, Citizens Environmental Coalition, Building Green, U.S. Green Building Council, International Code Council and others.
