Little Cooks and Gardeners
Young children are at a formative stage in developing food preferences and eating habits that can stay with them for life. In this special class for 3- to 5-year-olds, plus one parent or caregiver per child, kids take part in hands-on gardening or farming activities and then discover how to cook simple, seasonal dishes featuring farm ingredients in our kitchen. Adults pick up techniques, tips and recipes for cooking at home with their young children.
We ask that no other siblings attend the class with the registered participants. This is to encourage children and caregivers to work together in the most meaningful way possible and to minimize distractions for the rest of the class.
Please note that each child must be accompanied by an adult. This is a hands-on program involving both caregiver and child.
The cost of $200 covers all 6 sessions. Registering for a time slot below will sign you up for the following dates:
