This workshop provides low-cost and no-cost ways to save energy and reduce energy bills. It links consumers with programs that provide energy-efficiency improvements with subsidies, low-interest loans, or free services to qualifying households. Workshop participants will receive a free gift! 

Homeowners and renters:  Looking for ways to lower your energy bills and make your home feel more comfortable? Attend this FREE EmPower New York workshop being offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Columbia & Greene Counties to learn about low– and no-cost strategies that can show you how. Community resources, low-interest loans, and free services for qualifying households will also be covered.  Workshop attendees will receive three free compact fluorescent bulbs (one set per household). Light refreshments will be provided and a door prize drawing will be held.  This workshop is sponsored by the NY Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) and is developed by CCE and NYSERDA.
