Stanley Maltzman is a naturalist and plein air painter whose affection for working outdoors stems partially from his years in scouting and his love for the Hudson Valley region.  Stanley’s pastels and drawings have been exhibited nationally in museums and institutions including the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York; The American Water Color Society, New York; The Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio; Carnegie University in Pennsylvania; and the Coast Guard Museum in Connecticut, to name just a few.
