Description:

Learn about the design process and hands on experiences in building Green Marine Solar Transportation fit for moving serious cargo along the Mohawk River. How does this work fit our future cargo business model?  What difficulties have we experienced in the many facets of this work: fundraising, design and implementation, marketing of the practicality of solar boats?

After this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Explain the typical efficiency range of market ready solar panels, and how that effects design
  • List three reasons solar transportation is a viable option today
  • Understand energy flow efficiency and relate this to our current solar boat design
  • List three ways solar boats can help us solve some of the problems we face in NYS business
