Kowawese Unique Area
This program will be led by Tom Lake, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Hudson River Estuary Program naturalist. The group will sample the inshore shallows at Kowawese with a beach seine to see fish and shellfish. There will likely be sightings of Bald eagles, Osprey and the start of the autumn Monarch butterfly migration. Wear shorts and sandals. This event is being held in conjunction with the Hudson River Valley Ramble.
