Enjoy a journey back 20,000 years to the Ice Age with Bob and Johanna Titus, science professors and authors of popular articles and books about the geology of the Catskills and greater Hudson Valley. Whether you’re a roadside tourist, an art aficionado, a picnic fan, or an avid hiker, they will suggest places that you can go and see for yourself the geological history of this wonderful region. They connect the geological past to the area’s history, culture, and industry and discuss how processes that occurred all those years ago are still impacting the area today. They’ll also discuss topics that they are currently engaged in investigating, and a few they are planning for in the near future.
