Notice of a Meeting of the Members of Sustainable Westchester
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with our by-laws, the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Corporation will be held from 1 pm to 2pm on December 17, 2015 at White Plains Public Library in Auditorium (on Second Floor:, 100 Martine Avenue, White Plains, New York, 10601.
The purpose of the annual meeting of the Members is the election of Directors to the Board of Directors, presentation and discussion of the annual report of the Treasurer and for the transaction of such other business as may come before the Members. The meeting will also include an overview of the 2015 activities of the Corporation, and look ahead to 2016.
Three (3) Directors have terms that expire in December 2015. One (1) Director seat is vacant due to resignation.

1:10 pm Presentation of the Nomination Committee recommendations on the slate: 3 Directors of expiring terms for new 3 year terms (through December 2018) and 1 Director for the balance of the term of open seat (through December 2017).
1:20 pm Nominations from the floor.
1;25 pm Ballot collection from Members (1 ballot per member)
1:30 pm Treasurer’s Annual Report
1.40 pm Executive Directors Report on 2015 Highlights and 2016 Look Ahead.

2:00 pm Adjournment of Members Meeting
NOTE: The quarterly Board of Directors Meeting will take place immediately following the adjournment of the Members Meeting in the same room.
COMPLETE STREETS ORIENTATION & WORKSHOP

(Boston Post Road./Rte 1 Corridor Study Discussion will commence at 12 noon, right after the CS Workshop)

This inter-municipal training will provide an overview of the Complete Streets approach and will identify implementation steps and funding options that can help communities to build a healthy and sustainable transportation network.
Immediately following the Complete Streets Workshop, we will have a discussion about the Boston Post Road/Rte 1 Corridor Study. If you can’t make the workshop but have interest or know someone that should have interest in the discussion, please come at 12 noon.
This is the 2nd of 3 scheduled Complete Streets Workshops, last one is in Bedford on January 13th..
