Come on down to the Beacon Sloop Club Fall Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, October 18, 2015, 12:00pm – 5:00pm(rain or shine) at Pete and Toshi Seeger Park in Beacon (on the waterfront very near the train station).

Beacon Sloop Club Pumpkin Festival

The afternoon will have an abundance of fresh-picked local grown Hudson Valley pumpkins of all sizes and shapes. Enjoy fresh-baked pumpkin pies, hot and cold apple cider, delicious pumpkin soup, chili, famous stone soup, and other fall treats. The Beacon Farmers’ Market will have local vegetables, breads, eggs, cheeses, wine, flowers, and apples for sale and a wide variety of food and crafts from local vendors.
Come to enjoy live music on two solar powered music stages with Cosby Gibson, Dan Einbender, Ingrid Heldt, Lost Ryders of the Wawayanda, Rick Nestler & the Dirty Stay Out Skiffers, Susan Reid Bozso, Vinnie & Maryellen Cerniglia. Many free children’s activities, environmental displays.
The Beacon Sloop Club is a non-profit, all-volunteer environmental action/education and sailing organization dedicated to cleaning up the Hudson River and its environs. The BSC Festivals raise money for the public sailing program on the Woody Guthrie and other environmental education programs.
