Rochester Hollow Stream Walk
Join us for an interpreted walk along the ruggedly beautiful Rochester Hollow Creek in the Shandaken Wild Forest of the Catskill Park (Town of Shandaken, Ulster County). We’ll hike along an old wood road and to the stream for this walk and talk led by staff of the Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program. Participants will learn about natural streams of the Catskills, their features, history and management.
Meet at the Rochester Hollow Trailhead Parking Lot at 10:00 am. The walk will finish at 12:00 pm.

Bring proper hiking footwear, water, and be “tick prepared.” No pets allowed.
Directions: The Trailhead Parking Lot is easy to reach from State Route 28. A mile west of Big Indian turn north on Matyas Road and follow it to its end (about a quarter mile) to the Parking Lot.
