Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) Presents World Premiere of
Joe Albert Lima’s A Short Walk Into Sunshine –
A powerful play about destiny and last chances.
Ossining, NY – For four consecutive weekends beginning Friday, November 6th, and running through Saturday, November 28th, the Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) will present its fall mainstage production, the world premiere of A Short Walk Into Sunshine, a stirring and provocative full-length play written and directed by Joe Albert Lima that tackles themes of destiny, chance, race relations and long-seated sibling rivalries having paradoxical power to both destroy and heal.
Lima, an actor, playwright, and director and a member of WCT since its start in 2010, is the author of A Clean Shoot?, a one-act play that appeared in the Samuel French/Love Creek One Act Play Festival in 2003 and has been produced in several venues in New York.
The cast includes WCT members Steve Allen, Keith Bullock, Maiysha Jones and Tracey McAllister.
